The head of EASA’s Safety Investigation Section, Mr. Mario Colavita, was between 13-17 March 2023 in Lusaka and met Col. Michael Shinondo, the Director of the Zambian AAIB.

During the meetings a thorough review of the AIG PQs has been done. The focus was on the changes introduced since the last visit in January 2022 and the associated progresses made on investigation matter. The AAIB Zambia has now a dedicated website with publication of their final investigation reports.
