Mr Daniel Cruz, the project expert for this activity, reviewed in July-August 2023 the status of the State Safety Programme Implementation Assessment (SSPIA) PQs, and performed an assessment of the ATS SMS elements at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA).

During this mission, the expert also supported ZCAA participants in preparing the upcoming SMS activity and started providing a summary of the main aspect of a safety regulatory audit. The scope of the activity included also ZCAL´s SMS as the ATS provider for Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA).
