On the 4th May 2023, the last Project Steering Committee meeting of the Zambia Aviation Sector Support Programme II (ASSP II) was held in Lusaka, Zambia.

An EASA delegation, composed by Jose Manuel Quevedo Moreno, Project Manager – INTCO and Carla Iorio, Section Manager - America & Africa - INTCO, travelled on-site to attend in person the PSC meeting chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics (MoTL) of Zambia and co-chaired by the EUDEL to Zambia and COMESA.

The Project Steering Committee meeting has seen, among the many participants, the attendance of high-level representatives of the Ministry of Transport, of the EU DEL, of the Zambia CAA, including the new appointed DG, of the DAI Global Company (consortium implementing the 2nd component of the project), of COMESA and of the National Authorizing Office.
