The Runway Safety Workshop took place on 22 June 2022 in M’kango Golfview Hotel in Lusaka. It was held by our external Expert on Aviation Safety and SSP,  Dr. Hazel Courteney and attended by 41 delegates from Airports, Air Traffic Services and Operators, with all major airports represented including all the airport managers.  Various situations were subjected to analysis using different techniques, followed by a brainstorm for approaches to the priority issue selected by the group – wildlife control.
